Level up the katsu experience resto-style with these Eats-so-easy ideas!





One, serve katsu with some thinly shredded cabbage and sesame dressing, crushed toasted sesame seeds mixed with the free packet of katsu sauce, and a lemon slice to garnish. 









Two, whip up an easy curry sauce with Japanese curry paste, coconut milk, diced potatoes, and carrots and drizzle on katsu.





And third, go All American-inspired and serve katsu with BBQ seasoned French fries and ketchup or sour cream-bleu cheese sauce.





RECIPES





EASY PORK KATSU





Makes 7 servings 





(Yield: 7 pc katsu /1 pc per serving)







Ingredients:





1 (500 g) packPUREFOODS PORK KATSU





1 (950 mL) pack GOLDEN FRY PALM OIL for deep-frying





1/2 (210 g) head cabbage, shredded thinly





1 (150 g) pc lemon, cut into wedges





1/4 cup store-bought roasted sesame dressing













Procedure:





  1. Deep-fry katsu in oil until cooked through and golden brown, or for approximately 3-5 minutes. Drain the oil on paper towels.
  2. Place shredded cabbage on a warm serving plate. Put the katsu pieces on top of the cabbage, serve with sauce and garnish with lemon wedges.












EASY CHICKEN KATSU WITH CURRY SAUCE





Makes 7 servings.





(Yield: 7 pc katsu & 2-1/3 cups curry sauce/ 1 pc katsu & 1/3 c sauce per serving)





Ingredients:





1 (500 g) pack PUREFOODS CHICKEN KATSU





1 (950 mL) pack GOLDEN FRY PALM OIL for deep-frying





7 cups cooked rice





1 (1 g) pc onion leek, cut into thin strips and curled in ice-cold water





Curry Sauce





1 (400 mL) can coconut milk





1/2 (99 g) pack Japanese curry paste





 1/4 cup water





1 (100 g) pc potato, peeled and cut into 1 cm cubes





1 (100 g) pc carrot, peeled and cut into 1 cm cubes





1/2 tsp patis









Procedure:





  1. Deep-fry katsu in oil until cooked through and golden brown, or for approximately 3-5 minutes. Drain the oil on paper towels.
  2. In a pan, heat coconut milk, curry paste, and water. Let it simmer, and add potato and carrot. Season it with patis. Simmer covered until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
  3. Arrange rice in bowls. Pour some sauce on top along with the katsu. Garnish with curly leeks. Serve the rest of the sauce on the side.








SPICY CHICKEN NUGGETS AND BBQ FRIES





Makes 3 servings





(Yield: 9 pc & 1/4 c sauce/3 pc & 1-1/2 tbsp sauce per serving)







Ingredients:





1 (200 g) pack PUREFOODS SPICY CHICKEN NUGGETS, cooked according to package directions





Sauce





1/4 cup sour cream





1 tbsp blue cheese, crumbled













BBQ Fries





150 grams French fries, cooked according to package directions





1 tbsp barbecue powder









Procedure:





  1. In a small, bowl combine sour cream and cheese. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate before use.
  2. Toss fries in barbecue powder. Transfer to a serving container and serve with chicken nuggets and sauce. Serve immediately.

    Yay favorite ko din po ito sigurado pa masarap kasi products ng purefood at higit sa lahat easy to prepare na po affordable pa. Perfect lalo na pag gutom kana kasi mabilis lang gawin🤗.
